The Pharmacopoeia of the People’s Republic of China 2025 Edition (the Chinese Pharmacopoeia) came into effect on Oct. 01, 2025. The Chinese Pharmacopoeia (ChP) comprises volume I, II, III, and IV, covering 6,385 monographs on medical products (3,069 traditional Chinese medicines, 2,776 chemical drugs, 153 biological products, and 387 pharmaceutical excipients)
