The Pharmacopoeia of the People’s Republic of China 2020 Edition (the Chinese Pharmacopoeia) came into effect on Dec. 30, 2020. The Chinese Pharmacopoeia (ChP) comprises volume I, II, III, and IV, covering 5,911 monographs on medical products (2,711 traditional Chinese medicines, 2,712 chemical drugs, 153 biological products, and 335 pharmaceutical excipients)
